The store I worked at used to be a Towers and Bonimart, and turned into a Zellers in the early 1990's. So much history in our store, many staff members from the opening day in the 1960's were still working and retired just before the take over. I believe that if target took over the stores with staff and stock already in place, rather than try and start from scratch, they would have had a better chance to succeed.
